Despite the historically difficult economy, 2009 was a remarkably productive year for HomeAid Michigan – all thanks to the generosity of our building industry partners.

• We completed three construction projects across the state – in Ann Arbor, Pontiac, and Kalamazoo – that serve abused mothers with children, low-income wage earners, and homeless families.
• In completing these projects, we created collaboration among 50 building industry partners from Michigan and throughout the U.S.
• This collaboration produced $380,000 (retail value) of housing, toward which we leveraged $150,000 of in-kind contributions (professional labor and materials).

And, most humbling of all, the result of these efforts is safe, dignified housing that 40 of our formerly homeless neighbors now call HOME. Safe, dignified housing that will continue to serve scores of people for many years to come....
